Renovations
Dream Kitchen Renovation
This project incorporated design and construction work and the results are impressive.
Bloor West Kitchen
This original 50’s kitchen was bland, visually unpleasing and demanded an update. There was plenty of space but lacked its function potential, due to poor space planning and design elements.
Crisp white cabinetry, replaced the old. The impractical peninsula, chopped up the room, so we removed it, opening up the space and enhancing its size and function. The countertop was extended to the adjacent wall adding considerable countertop space and increasing storage with the additional upper and lower cabinetry. Glass and stone vertical strips were used for the backsplash and complementing porcelain tiles on the floor add warmth and harmony to this pristine, new space.
York Region Kitchen Renovation
This project included renovating everything including the kitchen sink. Opening up a load-bearing wall, refacing the fireplace, stucco removal, electrical, plumbing, flooring, and cabinetry – this project had it all. The before and after is astonishing.
Thornhill Kitchen
This project encompassed nearly the entire first floor of an older Thornhill home. The early 70′s cabinetry, flooring, front entrance and powder room were gutted and all brought up to date at the same time. The results speak for themselves.
Russel Hill Office and Dining Room
Old-fashioned and boring! This sizeable Russell Hill home had the potential of a stately manor. However, in order to do so, it was in dire need of a couple of major room renovations. Preserving the homes classic elements was key in our design plan. We took a traditional french white approach and used rich woods in contrasting hues to dress this space. Classic russet hardwood floors were installed with the contrast of crisp white cabinetry and moldings, as these materials and finishes support the overall look of both the office and dining room for our executive client. A fireplace and overhead plasma television rest symmetrically amidst a wall unit of millwork in the office. Similarly, yet on a grander scale, a classic molded fireplace acts as the focal point for the adjacent dining room.
Floor to ceiling grid style windows frame the walls allowing for ample natural light to flow through. And in the evenings or perhaps a dreary day, the ceiling mounted recessed lighting will accommodate the needs of both spaces. Sophisticated french doors allow for privacy and for the smooth transition from the office into the dining area. Both rooms are consistent in their traditional style as they now complement the opulence of this magnificent dwelling.
Forest Hill Ensuite
A luxurious ensuite bathroom was our goal to support the master bedroom of this Forest Hill estate home. Oriented at the rear south facade of the house, the sun shines through all day. We’ve located the free-standing soaker tub as a central feature focal point as it sits sculpturally against a picturesque wall of floor to ceiling windows.
A subtle colour scheme complements the crisp white elements within the space extending this stunning new space into the beautiful outdoors and giving our clients a feel of nature’s beauty.
Market Square Bathroom
This small 4 piece personal hygiene was timeworn, and poorly space planned.
Proper space planning was instilled in order to maximize the use of given space and therefore enhance function. Plumbing fixtures were rearranged into a functional pattern to maximize ease in function for our clients.
A current, contemporary style in a neutral yet contrasting colour scheme was applied for a fresh new updated look. The clients are thrilled with their new space.
Forest Hill Kitchen
The design renovation of this space was loads of fun! Our clients only wish was to design the space in a traditional style. Money was no object, therefore we gutted the space and loaded it with everything a culinary guru would dream of having. French white cabinetry is delicately milled and installed by our master carpenters, with detail and accuracy. A 12 foot island is located centrally topped with a gorgeous single Carrera marble slab. The new fireplace with overhead plasma is located towards the south façade and is adored by our client. Large windows frame the south walls allowing for ample amounts of natural light to flow through the space, leaving very little work for the recessed lighting to perform, during the day. This magnificent chef’s kitchen is finished off with top of the line appliances. A chef’s dream!
South Hill Foyer
This South Hill Estate property, eloquently sits in its grandeur, as a point of pride on the street. The clients’, a retired, Toronto couple, have had much difficulty parting with the dwelling and have decided to dress it up and stay.
Our professional team at Super 7 Group worked closely with the client in supporting their requests and the resolution is evident in the masterpiece we have created in the new staircase and front entry vestibule and foyer of this regal home. Rich marble floors were installed and floor to ceiling wainscoting with wood panels and custom carved moldings, painted in Benjamin Moore chantilly lace were meticulously cut and fitted. Contrast was a necessity in the grand staircase that stands as a major focal point upon entering the heritage abode. Risers and pickets are painted white and the treads, banister and newel posts are stained a deep chestnut hue.
The home portrays an historical era and in order to maintain its integrity, we based our design choices around its period style and produced this stately transformation.
We are currently working on the design and renovation of the kitchen and dining room of this home. Photos to come soon.
Lawrence Park Basement
Expand the usable space in your home with luxury by adding spa-like surroundings pampering your family with relaxing and rejuvenating energy.
Thornhill Bathroom
Warm, comfortable and restful.
Custom millwork stained in espresso and topped with a crisp white, quartz, carved in sink add a rich, modern-day feel to this newly renovated ensuite.
Stone travertine, strips run horizontally in the shower, from floor to ceiling, decked with mini wedge corner shelves, to accommodate toiletries. Contemporary glass doors invisibly seal the shower area, yet allow all of its opulence and beauty to flow throughout the space.
Hogs Hollow Bathroom
This run-down 4-piece washroom was outmoded and extremely unappealing, so much so, that it was no longer being used by our client.
This new space has had an incredible transformation. We’ve introduced a warm colour scheme, coupled with natural finishes and enhanced lighting. A deeper tub replaces the old and is enclosed with contemporary glass shower doors. This fresh, transitional style exceedingly addresses the clients personal taste and comfort and has now become a very desirable and functioning space again, in their home.
Cabana Project
The following gallery illustrates a recent project involving the construction and interior carpentry of a pool house or cabana, set on 2 acres of land just north of Toronto.
Yorkville Gym
Our clients, avid fitness enthusiasts, have always dreamed of owning a gym in their home.
A designated area specifically designed for the purpose of exercising, meditating and self-rejuvenating.
After viewing their home and realizing that there was ample space in the raised basement, we designed a room that functions as a professional gym. Extending the windows on the south wall allowed for additional natural light to flow through and has illuminated the space as though it sits on the main floor. The new reflected ceiling plan reveals ample recessed lighting that thoroughly supports the area. MR16’s were used for their longevity and overall sustainability. Professional grade equipment, at the clients’ discretion, were specified and used as an anchor in the design and space planning of the scope of the space.
Greatest of all is the practicality and convenience that this space has provided for our client.
They are delighted that they will not likely miss another day at the gym!
Brilliant Bathroom Renovation
The most important living spaces in your home are often the kitchen and the en suite bathroom. Believe it or not, most of your time is spent in these two locations, more than any other spaces in your home. The following pictures illustrate how Super 7 Group designed and renovated a large en suite bathroom, bringing it up to date with modern touches of brilliance and styling.
South Rosedale Mudroom
The clients of this south Rosedale estate desired a mudroom, which was not originally built in the house.
In fulfilling the clients’ requirement, we gained space from a lesser, adjacent room and created indispensible function, with this mudroom. Styled in pure white and meticulously milled by our finest carpenters, our clients‘ are delighted with the outcome and significance of this new space.
Bayview Village Shower
The challenge: This garishly dated and spatially challenged shower required major updating.
The solution: The solution was simple. We expanded the shower area and applied natural finishes. Travertine and marble with brushed nickel fixtures were used, creating a clean-lined, contemporary look and providing a comfortable, fresh new space.
Little Italy Makeover
This house in Toronto’s Little Italy proved to be a challenging project. What used to be an aging and dilapidated property was transformed into a modern masterpiece.
Custom Bathroom Renovation
Adding value and style to one of the most important rooms in your home doesn’t have to be difficult. Super 7 Group can help you realize your renovation dreams. The owners of this bathroom found it dated and not functional, but after we were done, it’s a point of pride in their home.
Knock-out Bathroom
This bathroom renovation included taking down a wall to claim additional square footage from an adjoining bedroom closet. In the end, there was more than enough space to turn a two piece en suite powder room into a fully-functional bathroom with glass shower.
High Park Addition
This addition to a historic home in Toronto’s exclusive High Park area needed structural and aesthetic renovation. It went from a bit of an eye sore, to an attractive property worthy of it’s neighborhood.
Bathroom Revival
This bathroom was in dire need of professional attention. The pictures speak for themselves.
Rosedale Closet
After reviewing and applying our clients’ needs, we established a functional space for daily use, for a family of five. Floor to ceiling wood shelving was designed and installed as closet/storage space and large scale laundry appliances were fitted in a stacked formation. Thus, making an unusable space function into one of the most useful and popular areas of the house.
Hot tub time machine
Appropriately named, this gallery shows how easily an outdated 1970′s bathroom can be transformed into a modern miracle.
